Something awesome.
Something I saw on July 2nd.
The Lion King Musical
Yes. It was amazing. Absolutely amazing.
I saw it with my grandpa, who has been involved in theater and still does some plays occasionally. He loved it, too. He said it was like everything he's ever seen in theater brought together perfectly in one show. The music, the costumes, the effects. And he loved the philosophical elements in the story, which he was surprised to learn that the same thing was in the movie.
My Gods, it was amazing.
Seriously, if you ever get the chance to see it, do it!
And yes, once again I teared up when Mufasa died.
The kids in it were awesome. They were so agile.
I'm still amazed.
The music is even better live. I've had the soundtrack to the musical for awhile, but seriously, it's even better live.
