It's almost February
... and I have not yet done my year summary.
Here goes:
2010 in sketches
January:
-New Year began in Andrew's apartment in Berlin. We huddled close to each other watching fireworks from the balcony, naked under bathrobes, with glasses of whiskey in our hands, startled by the small explosions outside.
-Athens, live on stage, with my lover, for the first time, a wonderful wonderful weekend.
-Saying goodbye to Andrew for the second time in my life, not knowing when I will see him again.
-Not working for Sybil anymore.
February:
-Still pretty focused on Andrew, and also tattooing.
-taking choir with Dex. Mad fun!
-bonding with Andi :)
March:
-Beginning LeatherQuest, very hopeful for further growth.
-Having my birthday around a few friends, getting spanked by April at Wild Side West
April:
-Firewalking training! Pretty awesome. Walking the fire for the first time, walking many fires, walking every night during the training, one time a 40-foot long fire.
-Feeling inspired.
May:
-Planning another trip to Germany
-Tattooing at a music/tattooing event (for the first time)
-dropping out of LQ
June:
-Spending a very difficult and incredibly beautiful month in Germany with Andrew
-going on a trip to Ukraine
-first time traveling with a lover in a Russian-speaking country, felt very important to me
-Saying goodbye to Andrew once again, very sad to leave
July:
-feeling antisocial, adjusting to my everyday life, missing Andrew
August:
-going to The Gathering for the second time, but this time not as a part of a couple
-really loving my experience afterall, though at the time feeling uncomfortable about not feeling sexual or wanting to play. Bonding with some unexpected people.
-Bonding with Dex, feeling close.
September:
-Starting working out with Shane, feeling good.
-Going to Yoga retreat and having an incredible time, just like last year. Loving the sun and the river, the last opportunity to get naked in nature.
-Johnny visiting, learning a few things about myself
-crazy fun Mango with Olga and Andi and Johnny, meeting Ignacio.
-very fun Folsom Street Fair
October:
-Tattooing Ignacio, going to their birthday party at Michelle's, meeting Yosenio. Very strange but in the end good night.
-Being in the shooting for Jiz's 30th birthday for CrashPad.
November:
-working a lot
-visiting my blood family in LA -- weird Thanksgiving, but also pretty good
December:
-Hawaii with Andi!!!!! Great times.
Sigh. Good year.
