Oh my god...I have a new love. At Jamie's house yesterday, we watched Singing in the Rain, and Gene Kelly...oh my god...I am in love with that man. The second he started dancing, I just stared at the screen in awe. God. He is soooooo amazing! And you know how most male dancers are fairly feminine? Not him. He is all man, baby...lol...no, but like he's still masculine...and he's got a really handsome face too...I'm just...GOD!!! I love him!!! He can sing and act, and, of course, dance like no other. And now I'm proclaiming my love for him!!! I need to see more of his movies. But for anybody that hasn't seen it, anybody that likes musicals, anyway...YOU NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!
Ok, it's been a while since I've updated, but, as always, I'll TRY to keep it short...lol...And there were a couple things I forgot from last time. Last Sunday morning, not the one we just had, I was in bed and refusing to get up because I was so tired. But my brother comes upstairs and says that Jeron, his friend that is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorable, was downstairs with his boxer Gracie. Of course, I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs, completely forgetting that I was still wearing those blue-green-turquoise shorts with the maracas and sombreros on them that I made with some help from Becca in 8th grade, teamed with a tank top and a ponytail that I'd worn to bed. Oh my god. Oh well...I'm sure Jeron's seen worse lol...but Gracie was soooo cute and she and Bailey were trying to run around eachother. It was cute. The other thing I wanted to say that I'd forgotten was that the day before the Jeron incident, I was cleaning my room. I had Hanson playing full blast, and, of course, was singing along full blast. It wasn't until a little while later that I realized my neighbor Casey, the one Lauren is lusting after, was across the street washing one of his family's cars. I'm 99% sure he'd heard everything. So I'd treated him to a free Hanson concert. I laughed at myself, as always lol...ok, this is getting long kind of, so I'm gonna break the entry in two. I'll write the rest in another one. See you in a minute!!!!!! Hehe
Leaving on a Jetplane - Whatever version we heard in Jamie's car...maybe Lisa
Loeb...definitely not Janis Joplin, Aaron...lol...
Ah-ah-ah-ahhh
Ah-ah-ah-ahhh
All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go.
I'm standing here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breaking it's early morn
The taxi's waiting he's blowin' his horn
Already, I'm so lonesome I could die
CHORUS
So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go
'cause I'm leaving on a jetplane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go
Ah-ah-ah-ahhh
There's so many times I've let you down
So many times I've played around
I tell you now they don't mean a thing
Everyplace I go I'll think of you
Every song I sing I'll sing for you
When I come back I'll wear your wedding ring
CHORUS
Now the time has come to leave you
One more time oh let me kiss you
Then close your eyes and I'll be on my way
Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave alone
About the times that I won't have to say
CHORUS
I'm leaving on a jetplane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe I hate to go.
But I'm leaving on a jetplane
Leaving on a jetplane (repeat)
