(no subject)
I haven't posted in almost two weeks, huh?
Anyway. I cut my hair today (well, technically, I didn't, but whatever xp). I'm... sort of happy with it. I mean, it's more or less what I wanted, and I'm sure it'll be OK when I learn to style it, but right now, I'm not entirely satisfied with it. Oh well.
I should be studying; I have three tests this week, one of which tomorrow. But then again, 2 of 3 (yes, including the one tomorrow) are tests you can't really study for: It's general math, stuff we've done all this year, so I can't exactly study for it. I guess I'll go through my book, look at every chapter, make sure I haven't forgotten anything and stuff, but I think I'll be ok. After all, math is something I'm good at. Whatever.
Then I have an actual test I have to study for on Wednesday. It's not exactly much, but I should probably still read through it. Because, well, I haven't even looked at it yet, and well, I don't feel like having to learn it all tomorrow. So yeah.
Also, I should write a song. Right. It should have been finished two weeks ago, but I get some kind of writer's block or whatever, think everything I write is crap, and start over. But anyway, I have until Monday on that; I'm gonna start on that on Wednesday, I suppose, after the test.
Other than that, uh.. Well, I'm not becoming a Stargate (SG-1, that is) fan. I swear I'm not. Only I've watched two eps in a row now. Mac, I blame you for this. :P Though I guess this means I get to pull you into another fandom xp To keep it fair and all.
Umm, I'm looking forward to Lost on Wednesday. Should be slashy, since it's a Desmond-centered ep, and those always focus on him trying to save Charlie. Desmond/Charlie OTP xp
I rediscovered American Idiot this weekend. I've mostly been listening to Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco this year, but I listened to it on Friday (and no, I didn't forget Mike's birthday) on the bus and I was blown away by how good it is. Omg. So much love.
Something I realized is how great Whatsername is, not as a song, but as a way to end the album. I mean, it's one of my favourite songs from the album, but I think that's mostly because it's such a great way to end it. As a song by itself it's awesome, but as a way to end the album and sort of sum everything up, it's perfect.
Anyway. The last three eps of House have been awesome, mostly because of the level of teh gay. Seriously. So much House/Wilson(/Cuddy)*. Act Your Age with the "Seriously!?" "No.", then House Training with House trying to get info about Wilson from his ex-wife (not to mention the staying overnight in House's office, because that was HT, right? I'm not entirely sure, because I only watched each of these eps once, and there was so much of teh gay in all of them that it sort of bleeds together xp Anyway), and then Family with the cane shop and everything and gah. Dying here.
*) I don't mind the H/W/C almost triangle they had in HT. If anyone besides Wilson is going to be with House, it should be Cuddy. I'm not all that hyped about the Wilson/Cuddy possibility, though, partly because it leaves room for House/Cam (or House/Honey, and who the hell thought of that name anyway?), and partly because, well, I don't see any appeal in that pairing at all. I dunno. Wilson should be with House or, uh, no one xp
I miss ER. I mean, I used to watch one (new) episode a day, plus a lot on DVD, but since they started airing the "new" (meaning the rerun of season 11, but new to me) only on Sundays, I've been less into it. I keep forgetting about it, and realizing just as the episode ends. It's getting annoying. Also, I want to rewatch it all, but I'm gonna wait until I get my DVDs back from Mac (hey, look, rhyming). She has both season 2 and 3, and I don't want to have to pause after those. Plus, I'm rewatching House and I want to finish that as well before I start on ER again. (Yeah, I could do the second DVD-watching of seasons 4-7, I guess, but again, I want to watch the rest of House first. So yeah. Maybe in a few weeks. We'll see.)
Other than that, I don't think there's much. Well, I've watched all of A Bit of Fry and Laurie, and a lot of Jeeves and Wooster as well. Speaking of which, I'm gonna buy I Was a Teenage Vampire (Or My Best Friend Is a Vampire, whatever), because tiny RSL! Also, there was something else I was buying... Oh, right, Swing Kids, with tiny RSL and tiny Noah Wyle. Hee. Also, Maybe Baby. Plus I want season 8 of ER and 5 of Scrubs. The Scrubs season will be released on May 21, at least, but I'm not sure about ER 8 yet.
Speaking of release dates, PotCIII premieres here on a Wednesday, May 23. Probably going to see it with Mac that Friday.
Umm. I don't think -- Oh, right. HP7. I'm not even sure if I posted about that, but anyway. Right now I'm not that hyped, but I'm sure I will be (again) as soon as I listen to the last few episodes of MuggleCast. But seriously, Harry Potter can't end. Wtf.
Ok, now I do actually think I'm pretty much finished. Except everyone who likes House(/Wilson) should go read the Zombie fic by triedunture, because it's friggin' awesome.
Ok, seriously, I think this is it. Either way, I'm leaving now, because I actually do have those tests to study for. And I've already been writing this for over half an hour. Wtf.
