well. if it helps, there are people shipping Draco and an Apple, and Ron with Chicken.

At least in your case, they're all actual characters.

xP I've shipped Mycroft/cake before, and also cake/umbrella. I'm not really distressed, tbh. Just a little upset at myself for falling into a new fandom. *facepalm* Why chicken, though? Is that an in-joke I've missed in the HP fandom?

yeah. Ron is ALWAYS eating chicken. His attention in the Great Hall is usually solely on chicken. Check it out, and you'll notice it. XD
