So, eeehmm. Yes.

I am back in Boston, getting in swing of classes and work and snow and Girlies. Kicked back some beers Saturday night and made snarky comments about the Miss America pageant (which I was required to watch for a gender class). So far all my classes seem like they're going to be really hard. Lots of work involved. Looks like there's not much coasting to be had :( Also I have to figure out when I need to get back to applying for the major I ACTUALLY WANT for the second time. Sometimes Emerson bureaucrats make me want to smash things with my face.

Annnnnd in case you all were waiting on baited breath since my last entry, it's official: so obsessed with Edgar Wright. With all things trio related (Simon and Nick, Hot Fuzz, Shaun, etc). They're begging to be slashed. Edgar Wright is in my top 8 on myspace. They are normal English boys who love Star Wars and I love them. I cannot refer to them as "my boys", however, because that will always be for Matt and Trey, whom I still adore. Edgar and co. are "the trio". Yes I am a geek deal with it. I had a dream where I met Simon and Nick; Simon kissed me on the forehead and Nick sweat on me. I was quite pleased though.

OMG SIDE NOTE COMPLETELY. I have discovered finally, The Fratellis, and they are an amazing band that I cannot stop listening to. Please do yourself a favor and obtain their songs, especially "Baby Fratelli" and "Chelsea Dagger" because they are amazing. Please. It is for your own good. /endsidenote

In seemingly unrelated news, I have finally come up with an idea for what I think will be a decent screenplay. I think I need to download one of those "write-in-screenplay-format" programs, but I am still definitely in teh planning stage. I just keep seeing scenes in my head, and keep figuring out little plotty details. I have not yet formed the characters fully in my mind, and only once I do will I actually start writing dialogue and all that. Right now I have a notebook file with lots of little scene snippets and factual wonderings. As for writing, I'm going with Edgar Wright's flip-charty method, as I have no personal way to do it and it seems to work well for them. That way shit's all planned out and I can't drop it with "i lost where i was going" type excuses. As I tend to do.

I fell on teh sidewalk today and skinned my hand. However, one hand was still successfully holding my lit cigarette so I feel like I won.

In the romance department, I met a really cute girl (who might be dropping my magazine class, unfortunately) and I had to interview her and she is single, but I am not sure whether or not she likes girls. She lamented dropping the class and told me she wishes she could have got to know me and I would have been fun to hang out with. she then assured me that she'd "be here, so whatever." Will try to persue that or at least find out if she likes ladies. I'm too reluctant to Facebook her because I have a feeling that she will be straight.

Also, there has been a slight TJ development. He texted me and asked if I was doing my radio show still, and i told him that we were, but it would be on at a different time because we have to reapply, and that I'd let him know when it would be. He responded with "Get a webcam too :)". And I was like "aldkjfldskj melt I'll see what i can do." Minus the first part, obviously. So I don't know what the fuck that means, but it made me blush. He and I text flirt all the time, and I really miss him. Over break, when he was leaving for DC I got my first real TJ hug (two actually), and they were both quite fierce. Le sigh. He deleted his facebook, and he said he's probably going to resurrect it because he misses my comments. heart heart heart. I will keep you updated as breaking news occurs.

That's pretty much it with me for now. Still behind on scarfing, but I've been watching a lot of movies lately, which provide for maximum scarfage. I watched both the writer and cast commentaries for shaun of the dead, which let me finish Tracy's scarf. I watched Hot Fuzz with Jeannie which got me started on Caitlin's scarf, so once I watch the other 3 commentaries for Fuzz (yeh, that's 4 in total) and Dead Right with Edgar's commentary (again) and Simon and Nick's commentary (for the first time), I will be totally caught up hopefully. Also I've been in the mood for zombie movies, so I might purchase some from amazon once I delegate my funds to the things that need it most, like books (which i should have ordered already), tmbg tickets (which i should have purchased already), cure tickets (which are going to be mad expensive), and a fucking Mac external harddrive which I apparently need for my production class. Yeah. Hopefully I can find one for 100 bucks or less, seeing as i JUST BOUGHT AN EXTERANL DRIVE FOR MY PC. Fuck fuck fuck macs i hate them. Although the teacher did nicely tell us that we shouldn't buy the 60 dollar book, which I'm not going to. He's pretty badass and i like him.

I'm going to see No Country for Old Men with Maria tonight, so hopefully that'll be good. I might come back and watch Hudsucker Proxy (holy shit, i hope i brought it to college with me...) because I heart the Coen brothers. Also Transformers is nominated for an Oscar. (NONE FOR HOT FUZZ OKAY EAT IT) Three Oscars, actually. Fantastic. I best be off so we can make it to the church theatre on time. Even though it's across the street shut up.
