Sup, kids? I'm back in good ol' Boston, now. I'm actually waiting for my friend to finish showering so we can go eat breakfast before my two classes today. I've got Environment and Mankind at 12, and then Enviornmental Ethics right after, at 2. Tuesdays and Thursdays are going to be my hippie days.
My roommate was thoroughly amused by Inflatable Stan and Inflatable Kyle. As were my other friends, who proceeded to place them in dirty sex positions. I was just pumped that it wasn't me making Style jokes for once. Mwahahaha. I'm wearing my Kenny shirt right now. It says "It's all good in the hood", which is apparently a double entendre that I didn't get until I read the comedycentral website description, and it was liek "yeah, we're talking about kenny, cough cough". It took awhile to click. I'm slow.
I didn't finish this entry before I had to leave for class. My classes weren't bad. My one professor seems pretty cool. She's obviously an environmental activist, and she's really opinionated and interesting. My second professor reminds me of Mr. Moyer, my seventh grade geography teacher, who annoyed me and made me sleepy. This professor seems to be following in teh same vein, 'cause I already dosed off a bit, and it was the first day. He spent a half hour talking about Real Player and Adobe Acrobat. It was insanely boring, but I met a cool girl who was making fun of him with me, so it won't be that bad. The topic (enviornmental ethics) seems really cool, and I'm hoping my other class (enviro and mankind) will help me with it. Hooray for overlapping subjects :D
It's mad cold in Boston. I've got to readjust to being outside all the time, and needing a heavier coat. Back home, I'd just wear a fleece because the only walking around I'd do would be from my door to my car, and my car to the door of the diner. And vice versa. It's time to bust out that peacoat again.
I'm still trying to work on my novel and junk. Over break I picked up a frame story that I had written awhile ago, as an assigment for AP Lit. I really liked the characters and everything, so I decided to do a sequel to it. The original story is kinda like the Breakfast Club, so I figured to make it a bit more original, I'd continue it, so you'd know what happened to the characters, if they stayed friends, etc etc.
If anyone is still interested in reading what I have so far for my NaNoWriMo story, I'll post the rest of it. Or, if you just wanna email and beta for me, I'll give it to you all at once. I'm just trying to get some more opinions on my writing before my Fiction Writing class. ....So I don't look like a huge douche.
