From Fuumuu, who gets to get me back for that accidental thing on facebook. XD
The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away

I'm particularly fond of Small Gods. And the Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents while not TECHNICALLY a discworld book is still fantastic. I also adore Men at Arms because I'm the type of person who thinks aliens are the best part of anything, and Terry Pratchett while not a sci-fi writer in the strictest sense, still knows how to put together a challenging and lovely setup for fantasy creatures.
Also, anything with Moist von Lipwig.
Current favorite anime/manga is pretty easy to tell. I tend to play thngs from my favorites. So you can look and see Spiral: the Bonds of Reasoning, Nabari no Ou, And DOGS: Bullets and Carnage fairly easily.
But I'm also fascinated by the story structure in a series called What a Wonderful World. (Not to be confused with "It's a wonderful world")
It's told in intersecting vignettes between characters, and beautifully done.
The roaches are...dead.
You haven't heard about them in a while ebcause I was pretty upset about the cause of their death. My sister made an unholy stink about having them int he room (despite the four rodents we otherwise keep there), the roaches were banished to the outdoors, where not only was the increased humidity enough to allow them to breed, but the heat made it impossible for me to open the cage to feed them without them making a dash for escape and sometimes succeeding.
Since releasing such well-fed and highly-breedable things close to the house would be a bad move, I had to let them die outside from starvation and ants.
I wasn't particularly happy about this, so I didn't mention it, and ironically enough, at times I still miss them. The last time I mentioned it, Nyan was also horribly disgusted, so...
My favorite dinner food is barbequed lamb with cumin and green onions, or curried goat. I don't get either very often as you can imagine, even living where I do, and usually like to eat either slathered with hummus.
