So yeah...I've been passed-out sick and semi-nauseated/semi-not-eating for the past four days or so? But somehow I still feel a lot better. Still kind of dizzy and weak and wobbly, but that's probably just the lack of food. (I supposedly was pretty cranky yesterday evening, but I only really came out to tell my sister to do the English Work I'm supposed to be supervising her on all this summer? So I don't really know how I was acting.)
Probably my mood's helped because every time I take Gau onto Dear_Mun now, everyone I meet ends up being all "...Can I molest him? Please?"
So far, two Yoites, and one OTHER Gau? Woah. A pity Leca-sama doesn't know Yugioh, it really IS. I can't even begin there. It makes me laugh too hard.
Not to mention all the other people on the real comm who keep hitting on him. XD What IS it about Gau that you people like so much?
And Raikou a la MOG, who's actually probably the sweetest, most passive Raikou I've seen...He just makes me "aww".

BY THE WAY. Everyone welcome "Lecanis"? Met her as the other Gau, then reviewed her Nabari fanfic totally by coincidence and we got to ranting and laughing at eachother. (Ooh, and she was sweet enough to snatch some fo the Gau icons I used and tried to get people to steal--WHO DOES THAT? SO AWESOME! STEAL MY SUCKY ICONS OH YES! *ego swell and dancing*)

I haven't had the heart to send Tracer after Gau yet, even though Tracer'd normally try. In his defense, he's at least checking with Raikou to see what the relations are there, which is IC for him--all male tail is fair game for casual bedpost notching unless spoken for? If Raikou's free, he's trying to parcel him off with Malik because Malik's being the insecure person he is and wants himself a fairytale prince to have sex with forever. XD NICE.
Admittedly, Tracer's good enough at reading people to guess Raikou's into men at least a little, and note that Raikou actually DOES have most if not all the traits Malik wanted in a boy-toy. So who knows. *shrug*
If he manages to hitch those two together like he's been hired to, (Malik "hired" him to find him a boy. He probably didn't take it seriously, but Tracer's going to hold him to it, and press him for information on creating soul-fragments.) he'll probably go after Gau afterwards just because he thinks he'd make a nice nerd and he has that glasses fetish...Gau will be SO not into him, but you can't blame Tracer for trying. If nothing else, he'll like him more for the spunk, and then he'll be a little morose inside because it reminds him of Tomonori and DAMN, can't have him.
I'm just really not feeling the Tracer muse at the moment, I guess. He's such a lazy-ass when it all comes down to it... *sigh* He's not looking forward to a confrontation with what I've turned White Rabbit into.
Oh yes, THAT White Rabbit, for all people familiar with Juvenile Orion's canon.
White Rabbit has an "original" referred to as "Shiro Usagi" for convenience's sake, and basically he's a pimp. (Oh yes, I turned the shouta-rabbit character into a PIMP. And not just any pimp, an ERASER pimp. XD)
Shiro looks like "White Rabbit", but he's really a free-walking magical construct who duplicates himself, then reasserts his consciousness in his "clones" when he's killed. The clones occasionally get free, and...well...they're basically walking dimensional holes--idea freely stolen from another Sakurako Gokurakuin work, Category: Freaks. Basically, Rabbits exist as an alternative to cleanup after a binding spell. They suck in all the dead and nasty into another dimension and "eat" it. Basically? Walking bag of holding. Or...a mokona that connects to one free-space dimension, if you want another analogy.
Tracer's got to go and fight Shiro long enough to a) possibly rescue one of his grandkids/werecats (Oh yes. Long story.) and b) get back a part of the body of a kid left to haunt him with an "Osiris Curse".
(Basically, it seals off the powers he has from the same factional group as the ghost. This one's an arayashiki street-boy named "Poke". Basically, his face was stolen, but Tracer had a little seance to talk to the dork, and that's not what he's missing. Shiro took his clan tattoos. *shrug* So pretty much, Tracer gets no precog until he gets the things back from SHiro, and without his precog, he's probably pretty much dead because his Wiz-Dom half gave him more sucky powers that don't bust heads the same way.)
Basically, I've jsut spoiled out the problem nuances for the whole Tracer subplot here and now.

I'll link it if anyone's interested, because it's a pretty epic way to get together anything for characters, whether it's story-characters, or RP characters, and there's a link to the character text at the bottom. I highly recommend the thing! (well...assuming you have that much time on your hands, that is.)

Been doing that and...kind of working on Gau's bio, too, so it makes more sense. Adding fanon detail and deciding to be a little more open abotu playing him as a masochist. (I only really decided to make that more obvious after all the people commenting. It was going to come in later. XD THANKS, MUSHY-SAMA? Feel free to help me out with the tips, there.)
Agh. Can't help but feel I made the bio too melodramatic in some places, but eh. WHO KILLS A NERD-BOY'S BLIND MOTHER? WHO DOES THAT?
Also...I forgot the canon thing where he seems to eat what's left on people's plates. HAH. I plan to build on that. It makes perfect sense, and adds to his character. It'll definitely raise comments when he's out and about with others, too... *heeee*
...That, and it makes him look SO much more like a pillow-chomping sub.
Granted, he's not the first character I've made that does that. It's actually a culture thing down where I live. I knew several people who did that and jsut grabbed off eachother's plates and yours, and shared food from their plates with us. Slightly different, but still.
I also had a great grandmother who used to eat rotten food, and the leftovers on peoples' plates just because she hated wasting things. So it's not THAT unusual a thing in some places. It's just the attitude and reason behind it that can be interesting... Gau's probably closer to my great-grandmother there, for reasons.
Should be fun, anyway.
