While I'm online JUST finishing up the purchase of a new mini netbook I'm planning on naming Bucephalus* with my typical lack of dignity...
I thought I'd kill several stones with one bird in aformentioned elitist june brat post....
Let's see...Sashide-san was kind enough to point out she's on this particular bandwagon, so Mushy? Azalee? It's your job to indoctrinate her ont he joys of being an elitist june brat. Hers was Friday. Mushy-san's is TODAY, I think, and Aza-pon's on the seventh. (And Nyan's on the thirtieth, but she doesn't count because she's too young~ *gets shot for lousy jokes*)
So yes.
Woo.
Old people.
Oh, and my laptop's set to build according to the HP site, on June 15th. Two day ship means I'll probably be back online on the seventeenth with the aid of Bucephalus. Or...the eighteenth, possibly, because I'm a retard when it comes to computers that aren't sufficiently out of date. (I've never really gotten past MW Dos Shell and WIndows 3.1, thank you.)
So to be quick:
Pon-pon? Everyone else? I can READ email on my phone, but can't comment back. I'm keeping track of everything...mostly...I jsut can't say as much,a nd I'm very rushed.
Aza? In particular, I've saved the unpublished scanlations of the whole Spiral series, so I'll get you the epilogue by the seventeenth, hopefully. But I know for sure it's on Potato-kun, who's...still running, but still internet celibate, and being funny about his load time, and therefore...possibly elderly, necessitating the call for Bucephalus.
Woo.
Mouthful.
Right. So...um...the seventeenth, I'm back in business.
Just so...everyone...knows...yeah...
(Also, I'm driving myself pretty crazy without having near-constant contact with everyone, like a good little insecure person, so that should cheer everyone up because when I panic, I work like a dog, so...icons, fiction, random usefulnesses? Those should be around when I return for full-schedule junk. Yeah.)
Oh...and Buce comes with a vidcam, and skype, supposedly.
OOOOooooooo.
It should be an interesting day, the seventeenth~
* The horse of Alexander the Great, I'm afraid, also the computer in Isaac Asimov's short story "Alexander the God" which I read on Wednesday. When not online, I tend to...read. A lot.
An awful lot, actually.
Fourteen inches since last week, as a matter of fact. I'm burning out my brain on a sci-fi binge. I can't wait to be back to burning out my brain on other people, instead. It feels much more productive.
Yes, I'm one of those insufferable tanless people you love to hate who comes back from the sumemr vacation with the longest book list of reading, and gets the reward (Usually a stupid book about horses or male vampires for most girls), and gets to stand in front of the rest of the school, blinking slightly at the idea of sunlight and other people.
bucephalus! my bucephalus!
