Posting at 4:30 in the morning is crazy...
Don't I have something more important to do? I should.
...But, apparently not. It's either this, or I stare funny as my fingers attempt to type a sex scene. WHAT?O, nightmares to come, you are nothing but a poorly digested bit of beef! Ebeneezer Scrooge agrees. Going to a chinese restaurant after

It's fine. A little late to start when we've been playing for 125 forum pages. >_>
I meant it's pure character-development rather than say, "You find yourself broadcastig your dreams" or "You find yourself five inches tall." Both were interesting, but the demanding time constraints...
KKM is character-based, so people who actually aren't much good at or don't have a heart for the character they play usually drop it off after a while. The closeness of everyoen bothers me a little somehow, I'd say, but the character-study doesn't at all.
I like having fresh people and ideas come in, but how to do that without offending people who pick it up because it's comforting to be surrounding by nice, closely-knit people who know eachother. The conundrum rears its ugly head: How do I bring in people to such a wonderful thing without ruining it for others? How do I manage to screen in such a way that I don't end up harming people who care about the comm in such a way? I won't say it doesn't worry me. My recruiting is fairly low-key and mostly based off the idea that if people like my character's play, they can investigate, but...people don't always look for harmless reasons?
If I handle it poorly, I may lose friends I already have, and I'm stepping a little on toes by recruiting even though some of them would rather NOT open up the comm.
And investigating other comms to see what's out there should things go worst-of-worst wrong...depresses me. There are few places I like the pace of.
