In the words of Ayumu Narumi: "Why can't I be more like my brother?"

Apr 22, 2010 21:53

There was a homeless guy with a guitar and a lord of the rings type beard outside the Taco Bell I usually hit on the way home from school if I'm hungry.

I gave him five bucks, and he flipped out because "nobody ever gives five bucks!"

I was going to swing back around and give him some of my food, but he didn't stop for my car, so I drove off with a sigh and an extra quesedilla wondering why I hadn't given the extra few bucks I had in my pocket.

Roast would have given everything he had.
Even if it was forty bucks or more.

Poor guy. Even if I could smell the wine all over him, and bet he would spend the thing on the liquor store nearby, it would have been worth a few more bucks to make that big of an impact on him, and maybe get him off the street, even. People burst into tears when Roast comes by. He takes care of them.

...I want to be just like my little brother if I ever grow up.

It wouldn't matter what the guy used it for. It still would have been better if I'd given him more money...

Either way, he gets prayer.

I still hope he actually gets some food tonight. I should have stopped and given him that quesedilla...
