IT'S OFFICIAL!!!
So Friday I came home talking on the phone. I see Jeff and smile, talk for a few more moments and hang up. Jeff says he has something to show me in the bedroom. Well, the other day we were talking about changing the sheets, so I thought he had and he was going to show me that he hand cleaned up the room and what sheets he had used or someting. So he goes into the room and I hear, "Wait a minute... Ok come here." I walk into the room, and Jeff is by the bed by the computer on one knee with a ring box opened in his hand! A bouquet of fresh flowers and a chilled bucket of Asti is on the bed! As he's saying "will you marry me?" I throw myself at him and hug him laughing, clapping and jumping up and down before he can even finish the question!! Now poor Jeff has been sick for a week, and both of us have been having back problems for months now, so me squeezing him like that he says, "Ow! You're hurting me!" Or was it, "Ow! You're killing me!"? Also, he was trying to play a slideshow of pictures of us with "That's the way my love is" playing... but it wasn't playing! So Jeff says "Dammit!" So he gets up ans sits in the chair and I sit in his lap all squee-like watching it, hugging him and kissing him over and over again. He asks me, "so are you wearing the ring?"I said, "You didn't put it on me." Cuz he had put it on the bed to fix the slideshow. So he picks it up and says "did you say yes?" "I said uh huh!" "But you have to say YES!" "YES!!!" So then he puts it on my finger! Squee!!! So of course the first person I haveee to call is Tegon! Guess what!? You're pregnant? No!!! Mom: You're pregnant? No! Deena: You're pregnant? No! Lea: thought it! hahahah! sheesh people! I know we're doing it a bit backwards and all! But we're not doing it THAT backwards!!! SO IT'S OFFICIMILATED! WE'RE ENGAGED!
