Writer's Block: Time Capsule
Only 3 items? Hmm its hard to say, but I guess....my violin or at least a picture of it, a pic of my mom because she'll be long gone, and a dried rose I got from someone special....I wonder if it would turn to dust hmmm lol All that would go in and not only would it serve as a reminder of now but it will look pretty kool if it was opened in 50 years. Just imagine:
A beautiful 50 year old ( actually about 56) violin with perfectly aged wood the color of cherry a fine layer of dust and cobwebs clinging to its frame and beside the antiqic carved novelty lies a purple rose frail and still preserved. Then there is a picture at first that you dont recongnize, but when the dust is swept away you see the smiling face of your dearest mother they she looked 50 years ago, un tainted by such a drastic expanse of time and mortal boundry. To me that would be the best part- opening it. = )
