TODAY WAS MADE OF CAPSLOCK AND WIN
Today I wrangled the second of my dissertations until I had a presentable chunk to send to my supervisor - granted it required me to miss the Anime Society meeting again (>__>) but now that we've had the elections i'm basically president in name only for the next five weeks.
Secondly, I sat down with the guys I'm moving in with next year about what kind of place to look for; we're hoping for a 5-bedroom place so we get a 'spare room' and a 2-fridge kitchen. Plus I requested we get somewhere near the river so I can be within walking distance of both the train station and magister_cain 's house. I really need to ask hikari_datenshi about stuff like when I need to apply for Jobseekers allowance/housing benefits in relation to my graduation/lease expiring. Maybe when she's finished watching Peepshow (which will be, let's see, never? :P).
Also, I finally started a community thread, over at capslock_atla, (well, I already did one at anthropologist but they weren't very helpful) starting a game I called The Gashlycrumb Benders, after the Edward Gorey alphabet book, and it's really taken off! I got, like, 9 emails from commentators in the time it took me to get the bus home from Uni. Maybe the internet isn't so bad after all ^___^
