I've finally seen Cube Zero. FOR YEARS I BELIEVED THIS FILM WAS A LIE. I kind of wish it was still a lie. :(
Mostly because Kazan was fucking awesome and I don't like the idea that he used to be a technician working for ... whatever. I don't know. And the exit procedure >:((((((( in my head, Kazan did find a way out and was saved by aliens who helped him destroy the other aliens or government or body of evil that controlled the cube and then solved maths problems with him and served him tea. IN MY HEAD THIS IS HOW ALL PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR FILMS END. AND IT'S BETTER.
or maybe he did go into that "do you believe in god" room and said yes and was escorted out of there in a fucking limo and then served tea and beat up some people with maths.
and now I can't stop thinking about what would have happened if someone said "yes." Do they get out of the cube and become one of the analysts? From the way Jax was all "machines stole my eye oh how I hate them" and since one of his guys had wiring around his fingers, I'm thinking that if you answer yes you get out and end up working for the cube, causing it to be a ~*~vicious cycle~*~ that doesn't really make sense and OH GOD WHY DOES THIS FILM EXIST.
I did like it for the lulz though, in that Jax was fucking hilarious.
But of all things the Portal turrets are still the scariest. D:
Yes they are, shut up.
