Thanks Bilal.

I have been really hard on myself for not writing everyday. And its simply not true. I write nearly every day for My Job. My writing has won nearly $100,000 in grants each year, moved people to give, informed people about important social causes, and caused people to dream of distant lands.

Its not a waste of vocabulary. Its not exactly what I want to be doing. But it does mean I have been writing and I have been persuading and I have been speaking to an audience about something important to my soul. I could say that about 85% of the literature that goes out of my office has my hand in it somewhere - whether its a huge contribution or that another writer has taken my original text and made it their own. Its own form of fulfillment really.

Its not theatre. Its not the plays that are sitting in the back of my brain playing rummy with each other. Saying - "it'll keep hon, sleep's the main thing right now - Fae needs you."

But it is not that I am a dry well. That I am NOT creating.

Hmmm. I feel a bit better.

writing, work
