I have been listening to and playing Orange Blossom Special for about an hour. I think I understand it now. The first part is called "Bells and Whistles" and you just get to make fun bluesy noises on the fiddle, then there's the shuffle, and then there's the hoedown! It's so much fun and it's a good exercise in getting different sounds out of my instrument which will help my jazz improv a lot. I love my violin.
I'm so psyched for my show. April 21st the reception will be from 7-9. Mark it on your calendars for it will be mind-blowingly marvelous.
Monika told me today that I talk like the narrator from Winnie the Pooh. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
I have become addicted to cartoons. One of my friends once told me that cartoons and video games stifle sexual urges and loneliness. It seemed like a sad statement at the time, but what can I say besides I feel much better now.
