There is a movie from slashers early days I'm trying to remember the name too.
It was a slasher movie, but a comedy. The main killer turns out to be a football player who really wanted to be a ballet dancer. All I can remember is a few of the death scenes (on it a tub of cookies and milk another with a blender to the face) and a scene on a football field where the killers dead parent's spirits try to advise him, and then get into a fight with each other. One disembodied head starts strangling the other.
Someone on the Cracked.com forums posted the link for something like 2600 VHS movies covers, mostly dating from the late 70s to mid 90s, here but nothing rings a bell. Brought back some memories though.
