Lynn, as a doctor, knows that other beings than humans menstruate. However, as she witnesses the shock of dark red between Amanda’s thighs, the sight becomes a kind of proof for her, that the girl is indeed a human, a woman.
Amanda standing under the showerhead, water pouring in jets over her dark hair, slicking it to her head. Her eyes dark as they catch Lynn’s, neither breaking the stare. The soap returns to the ledge, breasts are rinsed clean, and Lynn closes the door.
A low, animal groan finds its way through her throat, tearing loose. Lynn’s fingers moving inside of her, drops of shocking brightness dropping to the tile, like blood on snow.
