[mod] Layout Challenge / July Prompt
Now that summer is officially here (sort of) I'm thinking that this comm needs... brightening up a little, maybe?
So I propose that the community hosts its first layout challenge / competition.
Rules and Requirements:
¤ Layout must be new and created by you.*
¤ Credit all resources used.
¤ Make sure that is it easy to read
¤ Images used should be relevant to the community
¤ Compatible with other browsers (FF, IE, chrome, etc.)
¤ Width of content should be 500-700 px or around there
* Tweaking template journals is fine, as long as credit is given to the template creator.
Deadline: 31st of July, though if that is unreasonable dates can be negotiated.
How this shindig will work:
¤ Post all entries to the post here. Comments are screened.
¤ You may link / show a testing journal or an image preview, but should include a link to a download code. ¤ Multiple entries should be in the same post where possible please.
¤ When the deadline is reached, submissions will be closed.
¤ A poll shall be created where the rest of the community will be able to vote for their favourite layout.
¤ The winner will have their layout as the community layout.

July Prompt
Since June was Drummer Love, let's give July to the vocalists.
Pick a vocalist - or more than one - and make them the subject of a drabble, ficlet, oneshot or multichapter if you're feeling brave. Pair them up with anyone, everyone or no-one and then write.
As usual, you have until the end of the month, (unless it's a multichapter, in which case good luck and you can finish whenever) so get writing and have fun!
I think that's everything, other than remembering to tag everything accordingly, pimping us out to whoever and wherever you think might like us, taking part in challenges... you know, the usual. :D
