I am making an attempt
With a free night (finally), I am going to make an attempt to crank out a recap tonight.
Also of note: I do not care that David Boreanaz cheated on his wife. I don't give a shit one way or another. It's his business. It's his family's business. Most of all, it is his wife's business, and if she wants to own all over him for it, I hope she finds herself good representation. You know whose business it's not? It's not my business, and it's not really yours, either. I want Booth in my life, and I have no say in the rest. To the extent that this detracts from the amazingness that is Show, I say poo, because I want more finale spoilers, and don't want distraction. I need Michael Ausiello and all the rest focused on one thing, and that thing is giving me the info that I seek like a crack addict. I do not think cheating is okay, or awesome. I think it's shitty to the max. Lying is the root of all pain, if you ask me. But I also have exactly zero investment in the relationships and lives of people who I do not know. I mean, I only want the actors of Bones to keep alive and healthy so that they can be my puppets, and dance for me. For me to express some greater investment in their lives would either be delusional or disingenuous. Just like they want me to be alive and happy so that they can keep dancing, and get paid an exorbitant amount for it. If you want to complain about this issue, I really think it's a waste of your time (though I note that I cannot stop you), but know that it is an EPIC waste of time to even mention it here, the Land of Happy, where we all love the magical man perfection and fiction that is BOOTH.
TO MAKE THIS EXPLICITLY CLEAR: This blog is about Bones. And sometimes my life. And all other topics are, like, not at all relevant. I do not want distraction from Show. Because Show is so pretty.
Turns out that blind item Ausiello posted a while back? Not about Bones. It's about Brothers and Sisters.
Don't know what I'm talking about?
Ausiello said a popular drama that got a lot of play in his column was going to flash forward a year after the finale in the season premier. There was speculation that it was Bones. Turns out it's not. This does not definitively rule out the possibility of a flashforward, of course, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. You know I have eternal faith in Show, but I want them both to decide to stay. "The Beginning in the End" has got to mean something, kids, and we all have similar theories. Oh, Show. I love you.
