Really, Show is at the top of it's game, and someone's going to have to notice. It's been The Little Show that Could for seasons, and has grown in this rare, organic way, and I really think that last week's episode was a beautiful zenith, with the coinciding of what I truly believe is the best episode Show has produced, combined with the best ratings. I think that because it is a "crimedy," as Hart likes to call it, that the public at large doesn't really get it, because it doesn't fit into a pre-defined box. It's not REALLY a procedural; it's a love story (and more than one), it's a character-driven show, and what Show realizes is that characters, that PEOPLE, are not always funny, they are not always serious, they are not always right or wrong or having their best or worst days. Sometimes, people are just existing, and it's seeing Michael Jackson in some cheese, or the smile that someone gives to you, or the song your father used to play that gets you through.
I could go on about this for hours.
