(no subject)
Guess what? I have finally finished upgrading my computer! I now have:
-the equivalent of TWO 2-GHz processors (dual core)
-320g hard drive
-1g ram
-cd/dvd reader/writer
-19 inch widescreen lcd monitor
It's teh awesome.
This means:
-I no longer need my old computer. I'm just in the process of putting it all back together and transferring all my files, but I'm going to be getting rid of it. I was going to put it on freecycle, but then thought that I might as well check to see if anyone here wants it. So:
If you want an old computer from 2001 with:
-120g hard drive (2003)
-512m ram
-old athlon processor (can't recall how fast, sorry)
-cd/dvd reader, cd writer
-17 inch samsung monitor (slightly distorts picture in upper left corner)
-floppy and zip drives
then it's yours. Everything still works, but it's kind of slow and a fan or two might need replacing. *shrug* Otherwise it's going on freecycle. I don't think I could charge money for it.
And now: Driver updating time! Wheeeeeee :D
[Edit] Oh my goodness, I had no idea there would be this much interest in the computer... I honestly thought I'd end up putting it on freecycle. Ack! Should I go by order of request, or by need...? Eek.
