i love my cat

i love that she hates everybody but me.
i love that she has mood swings.
i love that she has a bear, which she uses to tell me how she's feeling.
i love that she meows piteously when she thinks i'm not home.
i love that when i close a door on her, she plays under the door with me.
i love that she loves me even though i'm not a very good owner.
i love that she lies on whatever item of clothing i leave on the floor when i'm changing.
i love that she hides under my blankets.
i love that she purrs like a fiend when i come home
i love that she knows when it's me coming home, and runs to the door (which i know because she has a bell, which i love)

B said something really depressing in class last night. She was trying to make us stop being so self-defeating, and she said "you are the only person you will spend your entire life with."
