Color Meme

If anyone wants to play, leave me a comment and I'll choose a colour that reminds me of you, then you can list ten things you like in that colour or ten things that colour reminds you of, or whatevs.
My color was black like an oboe, which ends up being a bit of a spectrum from dark brown to black. This took me forever! Its not that I had trouble finding ten black things that I like, its that I could easily list off about thirty of them almost right away and I was thinking too hard about which ones to pick. So, here are my (sort of) top ten.
1. Oboes! I think it's ok for me to include other members of the oboe family in one item, so English Horn and Oboe d'amore as well. These are my favorite musical instruments, and probably the best part of my school life.
2. Concert blacks. Which seems to be a fairly standard way for musicians in the area to refer to concert wear, unless its some sort of a concert where you aren't supposed to wear black. I recently bought new dress pants, black for concert wear, and brown for things that aren't concerts, and they're actually really comfortable! I love them so much. :D
3. My cast iron skillet. It is awesome, and I make eggs in it all the time and they don't get stuck! <3
4. Black Tea. I love constant comment and Tazo awake tea especially. And I like my tea plain, no milk or sugar, so it really is black.
5. Dark chocolate. There's this one 85% bar that I really like, and its definitely a very dark brown.
6. On the subject of food, molasses. We used to make whole wheat bread with molasses, but it still has some yummy uses in gf cooking.
7. My somewhat new bookcase. Its big, black, and a bookcase and it seems fairly sturdy. I like it, a lot.
8. The night sky.
9. Music notes, especially 32nd and 64th notes. Very, very black and scary, at least until they are played.
10. Pianos, mostly grand pianos, but also the upright in the oboe studio. Not as awesome as my oboe (IMO) but still very musical, and the way they are tuned is so fascinating.
