I'm now three weeks into break, and I feel like I'm being nowhere near as productive as I'd promised myself that I would be. I've done my fair share of studying and paper writing I suppose, but still nowhere near enough. At least on the internship front I'm in a much better situation that I was in last year; I'm in the second round interview process at both JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley! At this point, I have no idea where I'll end up this summer, or next year for that matter, but I think I like not knowing where I'll be. An adventure, right?

Tomorrow's my second round for the JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management internship. Eesh, the first interview was about two weeks ago, and it was quite ridiculous. The session essentially consisted of two competency based interviews, each of which featured my interviewer shooting mental math problem solving tasks at me rapid fire (everything from "What's 9/16 in decimal form?" to odd questions about wrapping wire around the earth and adding 6m to the diameter's length and determining the difference between the radii), and then to further prove my competency they had me take a ridiculous math test. My guess is by now they realise that I'm competent, and this set of three interviews tomorrow are the more typical "Why should we hire you?" sort of thing. I'm sure I'll post tomorrow in between the time I get back and the time that I watch the season finale of The Apprentice!

The housing process starts at Oberlin tomorrow. Since I have 5th year status (AP credits all the way!) I've got a great housing appointment time, so I should finally get to live in Talcott:

How amazing does that dorm look? Alright, I'd better get back to studying. Perhaps I'll try updating a little more often, once I figure out how to manage my time a little more wisely.
