Well I had my very first SATSUMA for this year!! Just the smell from when you first peel it pulls me right into the holidays. I love them so much. It made my day.
Later I am going shopping with my mom. that should be nice and fun. Maybe I'll find shoes. I need shorts adn stuff for Australia. hehe AUSTRALIA!!! I can't wait! January here I come!
Today at 2:00 I have a recording for a CD. It's slighly big time. Ok, no not slightly, but it IS big time. I guess I hadn't really thought about it until I got there to rehearse my piece last night. I thought it was kind of odd that I was only doing one piece, and he didn't quite know what time he needed me. But here is the thing. Apparenly they are recording like 20 different pieces, and i am only really needed for 20 minutes! There are only professional vocalists there and Dr. Tegels on organ. There is REAL LIVE recording equipment going to be there, and I'm like a little bit NERVOUS! Usually I don't get nervous for that kind of thing, but the music is really rhythmically difficult, and it is only a little technically difficult. Anyway so I went to bed super early in order to make sure I was plenty PLENTY rested for today. I think I'm going to take a little nap.
Last night we watched Silence of the Lambs. I had never seen it before. Slightly creepy. Ok waaaaaay creepy... yuck. Anyway, I am going to nap with the lovely taste of Satusuma on my mind.
