Yesterday was Mountain Day! (In case you forgot that's when the college president picks a nice day and cancels classes) It was perfect timing because I was confused about a lab report that was due that day. We went to Child's Park as a house and had a picnic and played frisbee. There are some really interesting pictures on Facebook now. Then we went apple picking at Outlook Farm in Westhampton. That was fun. Lots of people were climbing the trees. Both Matty and I couldn't resist eating an apple even though they make me itch and make her stomach hurt, and then we both got ice cream after to make up for it. Now the house has tons of apples and there are plans to do lots of baking. I watched the second half of The Incredables when we got back, and I went for a little kayak trip on the pond before dinner. We still had orchestra rehearsal since the family weekend concert is rapidly approaching. Each big group gets to play two songs, and we are doing Shostakovich's 5th symphony, second movement, and Indiana Jones. Its like marching band again! I've also started going to the gym Monday and Wendnesday mornings with Kate and Elise. So...that's it!
