I need a gun, 'cause all I do is dance, 'cause all I do is...dance

I just completely spammed Zak's entry with comments and it reminded me how I hadn't made an actual coherent entry in a while. So, here it is (well, coherence is intended but not guaranteed).

I am still waiting until Chris brings his laptop over to post prom pics because my dad sucks at using the digital camera and his mom doesn't.

Anyways. I haven't done much this week. I have done a lot of sleeping and eating and more sleeping. The week leading up to promwas so busy that I'm still making up for it. I chilled with Zach but that was only when I was feeling really super energetic.

But prom was actually fun. Didn't expect that really. The main thing that made it different from homecoming was it not being at school, which was wonderful. It was really nice, and you didn't have 600 kids jammed into a hot cafeteria grinding to terrible music. Yep, that's right, they didn't play consistently terrible music! That was nice too. Clair and Leigh looked lovely as did most people. I was surprised, not too many terrible dresses.

Me and Chris and Leigh slept over at Clair's and in the morning we all showered (ew no not together you sick person) and then wentto breakfast and I got chocolate chip pancakes! And then there was a very exciting high speed car chase with Chris trying to follow Leigh and give him his tux shoes and...well it is a long story.

Unfortunately my camera was being stupid the entire time at the dance. It turned out that the card was full, but it wasn't saying"CARD FULL" when I tried to take a picture like it usually does, it was just turning itself off. So I thought it was broken and the pictures I tried to take with Tara and sammi and Rhonda and Eri and Betsy and anybody else didn't work. I was sad.

So graduation is tomorrow. The rehearsal for it was so painfully boring. And they gave me an extra large hat! I don't have an extra large head!! It just falls right off. It's huge and like falls down over my eyes and the robe is huge too and I look like I played dress up in a fat man's closet. I also couldn't believe that you have to pay for cords. Not that $5 is so much money, but we're supposed to have "earned" them already, right? How stupid and I might even call it "cracked out" because I think calling things "cracked out" is very funny because I don't really know what it means.

On Wednesday it is my birthday and I will be a legal adult, omg how exciting. I can sign my own permission slips! But I won't have anymore and that makes me sad. But I can buy porn and cigarettes and have sex with old people THANK GOD.

And then Friday is a wedding (some of Chris's friends) which will be so fun because I haven't been to a real wedding in so long! By real I meant not hippy weddings in the backyard of an up north cottage where your neighbor is your pastor and your hors d'ouvres are from meijer.

And then saturday is my grad party, which I'm realizing is not like other grad parties as I keep getting invitations from people I don't really know that well. I only invited a few close friends to mine because my mom invited like 100+ family members. I think I did it wrong. I share the 11th with Clair and Matt as well as a bajillion other people for grad parties.

Clair or Zach need to go swimming soon so I can mooch off of their Woodbrooke memberships. It's finally getting hot and becoming real summer, which is so exciting to me.

I've grown to love this album so much. I'm completely obsessed with it. Like this song actually makes me want to dance, and I hate to dance! Except it gets ruined when some annoying white rapper comes on and screams at me. I just like the dancey part I don't want white rappers screaming at me.

I think it's time for bed Lauren yeah it is for sure.
