Yesterday I did a lot of stuff. I woke up pretty early but then realized that it wasn't as early as I thought because of daylight savings time. I got up and showered and ate lunch. Then I went shopping and bought a graduation present for Rei, new shoes for me, and groceries for...um...the refrigerator? We were out of milk and apples and bread and all that good stuff.
Then I cleaned up the house so my mom wouldn't have a heart attack when she got home. Went through more mail, returned some phone calls...the typical post-vacation agenda. Later in the afternoon I went to Chris's house and hung out with him and his mom and their puppy who has at least doubled in size from the last time I saw her. I ate dinner there and stayed till about 10. My parents got home at around 10:30.
Today I went to school at around 11:20, unaware that they had changed the schedule from 5th hour to 4th hour. So I thought I would be coming in at the beginning of Japanese (because I would have had A lunch), but instead I came in in the middle of physics (ew) and went to B lunch about 5 minutes later. Oops.
After school I babysat and tought oboe and then went shopping for my mom's b-day present which I totally forgot about and it is tomorrow. Yikes. But luckily I found a shirt that I think she will love.
Oh yeah, today and yesterday have been lovely enough to be the first top-down days of the year. That is so refreshing. It really lifts my spirits and reminds me that school is almost over.
I bought some new hand cream and it smells very good.
It's been nice not eating at restaurants. I don't think I had ever been so tired of eating at restaurants in my entire life. On Saturday night I came home and made myself a peanut butter sandwich, which sounded (and tasted) soooo good for some reason.
My nonno was in the hospital again over break and my aunt just told me yesterday because she didn't want to ruin our vacation. It didn't have anything to do with his heart like last year, and he's ok now. It's just very creepy, because last year, over spring break, was when he had his heart attack. I remember, my parents were in Mexico for their anniversary and we didn't want to tell them until they got back so we wouldn't ruin their trip. The exact same time this year he was in the hospital again. Kind of creepy. But anyways, he's out now, and Saturday is their anniversary so we will probably go out for dinner.
And on Friday night, I'm going prom dress shopping with my mom and my aunt! Yay!
That's all for now.
