Man, everything's sucking ass for a lot of people lately.
Someone stole $350 out of my mom's purse at her work (she works way out in the country at a resturant). Which boils down to her part of her rent money, the money she needs to send in to get her license and $50 she had set aside for me. Which really sucks overall because that's, like, all the money she had. So now she has to hope she makes enough in tips today to be able to get back home at the very least.
:/
I got some sketches roughed out today! Yay! Moving along at a decent pace. Could be better, could be worse.
keeperofdreams' birthday is Tuesday. She's going to be 26. :V
Halloween meme. Short, so I'm not cutting it.
1. What does Hallowe'en mean to you?
Spooky thing, autumn, cooler nights, costumes, dress up, ghosts, haunted houses, etc., etc...
2. What is the best song that would sum up Hallowe'en for you?
How about my favorite Halloween-y songs?
DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince - Nightmare on my Street
Squirrel Nut Zippers - Hell
Stephen Lynch - Halloween
Ludo - The Horror of our Love
Rasputina - Transylvania Concubine
Etcera...
3. Whats the worst thing to happen to you on Hallowe'en?
I don't think I've had--wait. Yes I have. Halloween 06, the first and, so far, only night I've gotten so drunk I puked. On myself. In the car. I also fell down some stairs and made a general fool of myself. But, overall, it's not the WORST thing that could've happened.
4. Whats the worst candy that you've ever gotten on a trick or treating raid?
PENNIES. Why do people give PENNIES? Such a cop out. I also hate those Mary Jane candies and those cheap peanut butter things.
5. What movies do you think make up for the best all night spooktacular Hallowe'en video marathon?
Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Ginger Snaps, Night of the Living Dead, Army of Darkness, Evil Dead, etc., etc. All the good Halloween movies, of course! And a handful of bad ones for the lulz.
6. What movie would you never ever want to miss seeing at Hallowe'en?
I don't know. I don't have cable, so I don't get to tune into the horror movie marathons that some channels have. So I don't have like A single Halloween movie I get to see every year.
7. Do you like to listen to Hallowe'en themed music during October?
Yes! And year round. :D
8. Now for something completely different. Do you believe in ghosts?
Sure do.
9. If you answered yes have you ever seen, heard, or felt a ghost?
I like to think so. There's been plenty of weird occurances in my life. And my grandmother claims to have seen/felt ghosts before.
10. What about other things that go bump in the night?
My uncle claimed to have seen Bigfoot (or some Bigfoot-type creature). I'm POSITIVE I've seen UFOs of some sort, as is my grandmother. I'm convinced a few of the houses I've been in were haunted and I tend to see shadow people/animals a lot. Especially small shadows that look like rats...
11. Tell me about something that scared you during Hallowe'en.
Halloween has always been a fun holiday for me. Even when I was little. My mom loves it and she'd dress up with me a lot.
12. Where is the scariest place you've been on Hallowe'en?
On Halloween? Maybe a haunted house? Scariest spooky place I've been to was probably the cemetary in the middle of the night with a bunch of friends. That was a bizzare adventure.
