Honestly,
his birthday was pretty low key. We laid around and cuddled a lot (also sexins). I didn't have the money to ~do~ anything or ~buy~ any gifts, which makes me a sad panda, but it wasn't a terrible birthday, so that's good.
I made Deancat dance for him this morning, though. So I guess that counts as a gift.
I bought some tights the last time I had monies so that I could wear them with my skirts/dresses. I have a nice pair of black lace ones and some solid red ones. I layered them to wear to class the other week and they were surprisingly comfy. When I have extra money again, I might pick up some more pairs.
Classes have been going well. I got a high C on my Art History exam, which could have been better. But it could have been worse. On the other hand, I'm rocking A's on all my assignments in my VCD/graphic design class (naturally), so I'm happy about that.
I've been trying to draw here and there, but I haven't had time/felt like doing a whole lot. I was sick for the last week, but I think it's clearing up. I've been more focused on trying to find a job/get some income than anything else right now.
I found a big pad of Bristol I'm thinking of maybe doing a few pieces to sell on. Don't know if anyone would buy, but it's worth a shot. Worst case scenario, I draw some tits and sell it that way. :O
In other art-related news, I won this adorable sketchcard from
cassu_bean (who's also over on Tumblr as
comiccharm). I don't read a lot of DC, but I've always loved Powergirl/Kara's costume design and she's such a cute, perky character.
I'm also being interviewed for
Fusion Magazine for a furry article they're doing. I'm not going to turn down getting to talk about myself, of course. I'm not sure ~why~ they're doing the article, but when I was initially contacted they told me they interviewed the 'only' furry on campus and I was like 'nosir'. Because I have to be the center of attention with everything, I told them if they wanted to talk to me for the article, I was more than open to the idea.
