Adventure! Exciting!
Man, I need some kind of proper sleep schedule. I guess it's not so bad today because I woke up at 6AM. But I went to bed at, like, 10PM! What is that even? I haven't been able to chat with Angie in, like, days because she usually doesn't get out of work until 11PM and we're lazy fatasses, so we sleep in until we're required to get up and go somewhere.
I worked yesterday from 9AM-3PM, which wasn't too bad. I like the job because it's easy and they just put me in textbooks so all it is is shelving material. But it's BORING as hell. I'm constantly doing something, but I don't know my co-workers well at all, so there's not really any chatter happening.
After work, I walked home and then TJ and I walked back up to campus because someone from the NEO Furs forum arranged a small meetup for people attending KSU or in the Kent area. There was only five of us in total, but it wasn't half bad. It's nice to socialize with fandom people who don't constantly talk about murry purry furry bullshit. We walked over to Taco Bell and got food, while bullshitting about RPGs and horrible job tales. Then we went back to campus and got side-tracked by trying to put a traffic cone on the giant brain.
We didn't succeed very well, as you can see. But it was a hilarious adventure.
When we got back to the student center, we went to the lounge to play games. Ended up rifling through, like, eight before we settled on Uno. Then we spent the time trying to screw each other over. BUT THE BEST THING EVER WAS:
WHICH THE STUDENT LOUNGE LEGITIMATELY HAS IN ITS BOARD GAME COLLECTION.
I proceeded to go through every ~heartthrob~ card and found these gems:
Truly, the best find in the world. But, believe me, there were many more gems to be found.
Be still my beating heart.
Then we came home because it was raining and ended up sleeping. When we woke up at SIX IN THE AM, we loafed around and watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame and discussed Poe as a gypsy and the whole movie ended up being lulz. ALSO HELLFIRE FUCK YEAH.
