so i took the summer semster off to try and get healthier to finish my degree down in florida. i was in the hostpial right after my brithday, and then on at home IV at the end of august.
i was deemed OK to go back to florida.
i was down there not for two weeks when i get some kind of ruthless virus, it felt like a sinus infection but with brutal fevers and that i was vomiting food up all the time. it got so bad my mother flew down to take care of me. she took one look at me and booked a flight the next day home. so we get home, and i'm starting to feel better. we go into the doctors and she tells me i need to be hospitalized. i go in apparently the virus caused me to also get a minor lung infection. ...right...so....hospitalized for a week and i just got out this past friday night. they put me on at home IV again....ugh. so without a doubt, i've had to drop out of my school, take a medical semster and we're getting rid of the apartment in florida. i'm not going back down there, my body can't handle it. so as it seems i'm transferring back up here.
i'm not really upset, i'm kinda happy to be home.
but still, thats two years of schooling most likely wasted. i just hope most of my credits transfer.
since i have no car here, my uncle has let me borrow his 1981 corvette for the time being.
thats about the real only good thing thats happened other then me just being home. being in my bed.
tomorrow i gotta wash and wax and clean the shit outta it.
he's let it sit for years and years
it smells like stale air and leather
its quirky too, the drivers side window button is upside down. its funny.
i like it alot though. my dad keeps...mentioning buying it from my uncle, being he never drives it and he's the original owner. that the car only has 50K miles on it.
i dunno, if we bought it i definitly woulden't complain, other then that it needs like almost $2 grand in a new interior and some minor paintwork. some engine work to get it back up to perfect condition.
we'll see though. its something for me to fiddle around with while i have nothing to do.
