Grapevine: The Slytherin pirate party
I promised I would post a quick resume of the party in the Slytherin common room on friday, january 27th, so here goes. This is only what is known to all and sundry through the trusty Hogwarts grapevine. There are certain salient details left out which will undoubtedly find their way into various logs.
Most of the Slytherins were there, of course, looking rakish in various kinds of pirate gear. Also present was some invitees from the other houses, two Brazillian boa constrictors (one of which is still missing in action) and a parrot which may have been eaten.
Hermione was present, having been invited by Slughorn. She left rather early, not given to enjoy Slytherin levels of debauchery, though not before having a pleasant chat with Blaise, the result of which should be obvious.
According to rumour Blaise spent the first part of the evening snogging various girls, especially Pansy. Later on, when everyone had had time to get drunk and frustrated, Draco and Blaise had a shouting match in the middle of the common room, which ended with them snogging in full view of all. This seemed to piss Pansy off, but she was eventually convinced to join the boys in a heap of Slytherin affection on one of the couches, and all seemed well for the moment. Just about then, Harry seemingly decided to crash the party, but he did it so discreetly that the only one who noticed was one of the snakes. The Slytherin Trio drama is here.
Later on, in the small hours of the morning, Blaise and Ginny, who were out in the grounds together for reasons unknown, came across Harry and Draco having a talk by the lake. Ginny seems to think this is cause for some concern. And apparently she lent Blaise some clothes. How nice of her.
