Back in the switching station.

Have you ever felt like your life is just a train car that keeps on moving from station to station? The door opens and you take a look around and you get back on and keep going, never settling on any one place to be. I've felt like that my whole life. First, the drive to leave my parents house, then the ship out, then the big return, and now rooming with my brother here in Westville NJ working at the fucking mall? I don't think so. So, okay, all told it's not a bad gig. Right now, I'm only the finest engraver the store has ever seen. But due to a vaccuum in management and some fucked up staffing procedure, I'm getting promoted to assistant manager soon and get put in charge of the night crew. I'll actually have people working under me! I guess it doesn't hurt that I'm pretty tight with my up and coming boss. But do I see myself here in three years? I doubt even one. I feel this constant itch to jump start my life. And it's not college. I don't know what I am, but it's not a college man. I don't even have a car yet. I just now got a phone. What am I doing with myself?? I hate these junctures. I've got unfinished text files collecting dust that I can't motivate myself to work on. I don't even have time to maintain any kind of relationship for more than a week or two. Fuck, man. I make me crazy sometimes.
