[There is some vaguely impatient tapping against the comm. It's followed by some shuffling, and then some sounds of either discontent or just plain irritation. Given who its coming from, this might be anticipated however.Naivety does not get one far it would seem, even with the one who is trusted most ( Read more... )

....

Lily-chan claimed that she wasn't injured.

Is that so? She's all right, then.

...
Good.

Yes, that is so.

She should be happy to hear of your concern for her.

She knows very well what I think of her.

[Well, probably not, but...]

As do I.

Tell me, how is Zelda doing? Is she safe?

[Sure, Zelda's safe, but she's not exactly stable. Sheik's pretty sure Hazar shouldn't hear that, however.]

Worry not. Fret not. She's quite safe. You are the sister by practice, are you not?

*She goes to let out a sigh at Sheik's words.*

That is good... That is good.

That I am.

I will never let anything befall Princess Zelda if I can help it.

[Unless of course she dies again, which is always a possibility.]

Hazar, correct? We have spoken before, although it has been quite some time.

I am glad that we both can see eye to eye on something.

*That would be bad ju-ju. Very bad ju-ju.*

Hazar or 11, which ever name you prefer. We have and you expressed that you did not enjoyed it.

Of course.

[He pauses briefly, and there's a chuckle. Light, but present all the same.]

Yes. Right. Those were some quite trying times, Miss Hazar.

*She blinks at the chuckle and lets out a soft chuckle of her own.*

That they were. Have you grown accustom to the ship yet?

A little too accustomed, I would think. That may be for all the better if the crew is not spouting nonsense with regard to our homelands.

I wonder if it would have been better to lie about that or told the truth. If that was true then I lost all purpose to the reason I was created.

How did Zelda take to the news?

I find I am unable to form an actual opinion. It would be a bit of a shame to discover the loss of the princess's home, however... She talks much of freedom, so perhaps it is her only opportunity to hold that.

She seems to be in a constant state of denial. She once claimed until she is confronted by concrete evidence, she refuses to believe it, or to acknowledge the announcement as truth.

I for one cannot speak on such a issue. Yes, perhaps this is the way to give her freedom.

.... Nee-chan...

This wouldn't be good for her mind or spirit to be like this. Do you know if she has used her frog yet or not?

All people deserve freedom. Everyone aboard this ship certainly does, given that some have been captives for well over a year. Captivity is hardly a good form of passing time.

[Sheik thinks about this carefully. He doesn't feel Zelda would go for using her frog. She could be a bit too stubborn.]

She had two. One was given to someone else from our homeland. She has not used her other. I believe she stated that she would sooner find another way to acquire the answers to her questions before handing her frog over to the crew.
