She's brought with her the Ocarina of Time--as powerless as it may be--and in between lines of music, she offers her thoughts.]Sir Jak should have been freed by now, ( Read more... )

Thank you for your thoughts and music, Miss.

Just how long ago did you arrive here on this atelier?

[There is no greater smile offered.]

It is an honor, I assure you.

[She thinks. It's a good question. Sometimes it feels like a lifetime. She will need to go through her comm to find the answer.]

I have been situated here for over a month according to the calendar date. You have only recently arrived, correct? I am not familiar with you...

Yes, I arrived 7 days ago.

I'm Rue.

Oh... Yes. You are one of the newly-arrived.

I am Zelda, Princess of Hyrule. It is very nice to meet you, Sir Rue.

It is nice to meet you as well, Miss Zelda -- or should I be calling you Your Majesty?

You may call me whatever you would like, if that will make things a little more convenient for you.

I knew another Princess, who was demanding to be called that -- I think. Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to speak rudely of your title.

[She chortles a little.]

I have heard many things of many different types of princesses. I will do all I can to always remain respectful and grateful for those who treat me with such kindness and treat them the same in return.

Yes, that would be polite -- ah, not that I'm the one to tell you these things.

No, no. I prefer it when others speak freely with me. Please do not ever feel you need to hold your words at bay with me.

I understand, Princess.

Have you found your habitat here to be quite sufficient? I am well aware that perhaps you may be missing some things from home, but should there be anything I can help with, I certainly would not be against attempting to remedy any ill situations.

It seems similar to Carona, the previous place I stayed at, although there are these strange creatures flying around.

Do you know anything about a man named Erol?

oblique_wisdom July 10 2009, 22:41:17 UTC
Carona... I have never heard of such a place. Is that where you are from? Your homeland, perhaps?

[She assumes by flying things he must mean his home, because she hasn't seen much of anything fly around on the ship. There have been goats and a very large fish, but... neither of those flew unless someone was throwing them, and even then, they would not go far.]

...Sir Erol...?

[Oh, goddesses, why is she blushing?]

I am acquainted with him, yes... You had best watch your step around him.

[Or his head.]

It is a town from my homeland.

Ah, I apologize; I mean there are unknown flying monsters on the deck I'm living on.

All I have heard is that he's a terrible man, but why?

I see... It is a lovely name, if I may say so.

[His deck?]
What deck are you staying on...?

[This conversation is awkward for her. Zelda really doesn't know much aside from what Link, Jak, the Major, and Daxter have told her. She doesn't want to be placed into the center of that.]

...I... That is... I am unable to answer that. Forgive me...

[After all, Erol has never done anything to harm her, so she cannot entirely fault him.]
