I wouldn't say we are going 'meet' any, unless Captain Redd has plans of throwing some of us overboard. I was under the impression there was nothing in the waters surrounding the ship, however, and thus find such a possibility nullified.

[Although it doesn't stop Captain Redd from creating a whale and dropping it into the ocean.]

It seems unlikely that there wouldn't be a reason. We simply don't know what he's attempting to say with these items three. Yet.
