Continuing through my journey to find the existance of Honor in the modern world around me, I have come to various blocks, if I may call them that.
First, if there is such a thing as Honor existing in the world today, it is no where near or closely related to the ways Honor was back in the old days.
Second, Honor, as it seems more and more, has been mistaken for the word Respect in my eyes, and now the words of honoring someone or honoring something is just the same as respecting someone or respecting something. I don't feel as though I agree entirely with that statement. I have doubts, and will share them when they solidify.
For the time being, I'm going to be defining Honor in two ways. One being Real Honor, as in the way Honor was portrayed in old, even ancient times. And the other being Transparent Honor, as it is portrayed in the world today. I'm using the word 'transparent' to show that Honor has lost meaning, and as been associated to being other things, or other things being associated with Honor.
I have come up with various examples for Transparent Honor, as well as Real Honor, and will be sharing these once I get the time. This is such a bothersome subject for me, and I hope, when I am near the ultimate truth, that I am not disappointed.
