I’ve been riding around my neighborhood a lot lately; mostly solo stuff for exercise. Nothing really serious or anything, just an hour here, an hour there. You know, something I can start at 7 or so and be sure I’ll be done with by 9. Does wonders for stress.
I’ve been playing around with a few variations of a short ride going North up Chevy Chase through the hills there. There’s a lot of different ways to ride through there.
I think I’m going to be sticking to
this version of the ride for awhile. I did this last night and it has a good variation of climbing, downhill runs, canyons, tree covered roads, winding mountaintop streets with a good view of the valley, and regular city streets. This would be a cool TrenWay ride if there wasn’t a 1,000 foot climb in the first 4 miles.
Here's a crappy cell phone pic from up top. Apparently my cell camera comes with free bloom effects.
