The other night I woke up in the middle of the night after having some nightmare about body snatchers or something. I got up for some water and realized that the power went out on our block. I decided it might be good idea to unplug a few things since the last time this happened, the surge of the power coming back on blew out my xbox's power cord.

In the event of a disaster I'm totally fucked. I have no idea where my flashlight is -- if even I own one -- and I don't have bottled water, or non-perishable food. Or maybe I do? I don't know. Fuck. Hopefully the Big One hits after I'm dead and gone. I'll let my kids worry about that shit.
