New Job

So, I've got a new job. And I love it. Like a lot. It's the most high energy, ADD job I've ever had, and I'm absolutely thriving off of it. It's kind of switched my life around 180 degrees. I'm more focused and responsible than I've ever been in the past, and I don't see myself going back to a lot of the specific trends I had enacted previously.

It's kind of been a big thing for me. Beyond any of that, here are some of the added benefits:

* We have a guy in the bathroom who sits around and waits for you to finish pissing so he can mop up the spray.
* Water and coffee magically appears at my desk.
* Food magically appears on a regular basis.
* I have nothing short of 3 LCD screens on adjustable arms.
* It's less than a 15 minute bike ride from my apartment.

What else could I ask for?

At any rate, the single biggest change in my life has been that I go to bed at a reasonable hour, and wake up in time to be at work when I'm expected to be there. It occured to me that staying up late is kind of like hating your self and rejecting society. Sounds jacked up, right? I've been more productive, more focused, more stable mentally and emotionally, than I've ever been before. Not that I was bad off before, I'm just doing a lot better now, and it feels really, really good.

There has been a very interesting personal transition going on as I've been disecting each process and realigning and simplifying my priorities. Wish me luck.
