The first thing she noticed was that he was cute. Really cute. And looked like a puppy that needed cuddling. But that was neither here nor there as it looked like he was in trouble and needed help. The cuddling could come later. Maybe.

Nunchaku? Cool! I've just got my magic 'cause I'm not really good at hand-to-hand combat. [strums a few notes on his sitar, summoning bubbles around Selphie] It doesn't look like much outside of battle, though.

[startled at the bubbles, then laughs in delight. She tries to touch one and giggles as it bursts, splashing her]

That's so cool~! This is your magic? And you control it with your instrument? That's awesome~! Mine sounds so boring in comparison.

[Reaching up, she carefully ran her fingers through his hair, grinning at how soft it was. He had such awesome hair! She could play with it all day, like Zell's, but he'd probably get annoyed with that. So she settled for brushing her hands over the short fuzz on the sides before giggling and clasping her hands neatly behind her back.]

Well, it's a lot like that, only with magic! And instead of the triple sevens, I have some special magic that no one else can do. So instead of the usual elemental or support magic, it's something completely different.

Like my Full-Cure! It can remove any ailments and heal to full health! It comes in rather handy, but I have a couple better ones that I can do.

Really? I feel special~! Well, if you ever get poisoned or hurt or something, I can fix it up! My other specials are kinda dangerous to use unless I have a monster I'm trying to get rid of, so I really shouldn't use them outside of a real battle.
