BUUUUURN BABY!!!
My mum met our neighbors today O.o... the kinda new ones who moved in like... AGES ago lol.. but I still haven't met =P. Umm.. yeah... apparently the son has been complaining about hearing noises coming from my room at strange hours of the day...
as I guess you know... I tend to stay up pretty late... so yeah... oops =P...
But aaaaanyway... my day lol.
went to friends place int he morning, he bought Soul Calibur 4. Which is (in my opinion) the sequel to THE GREATEST ONE ON ONE FIGHTING GENRE GAME EVER!!! lol... so needless to say... I am quite excited about the prospect of playing it.
But yeah, then tafe. Missed the train by the TIIINIEST bit and had to wait an hour for the next one lol... which wasn't really too bad in the end because we spent the first hour and half of class waiting for an actor to show up for an audition... they didn't show in the end and we just decided to drop it lol.
So the afternoon was spent on taking the final shot for the "13 keys" project... the "special effects" shot, and my script called for the skeletal remains of my protagonist left on screen after a huge explosion =D.
So we'd borrowed the skeleton from another department at tafe and taken it to the shooting location... set it up how we wanted it and for a bit of effect decided to light it on fire... well... the plastic must have been coated in some kind of varnish or lacker or something because that thing went up SOOOOO fast lol... in seconds of lighting the scraps of material we'd placed on the arms and chest the whole torso started burning, we might have gotten about a second of footage before the left arm melted off and a swarm of paniced students rushed in to blow out the fire... I should have too I guess... but... was too busy thinking "oh man, this is SO awesome O.O". Ha ha so yeah...
From there class was pretty much over for the day =P... the teacher spent the rest of the class sanding back and cleaning the burn marks from the torso before Colin (the guy who sourced it for us) had a chance to see it =P. Ha ha we however didn't know this... we were in the classroom waiting for him to come back for a couple of hours... after while we started making up theories like he'd made a run for it... and at some point Colin would walk in and say something like "Hey guys, Mike just called me from his place... he said you have something to tell me?". Ha ha but yeah... didn't happen, and it cleaned up pretty well int he end.... but yeah... I did feel pretty sorry for him... I think half the class would have helped him given the chance... but nobody knew where he was =P.
Umm... so yeah... that was it... then I came home and friend will soon be coming over to play more Soul Calibur... This has been such an excellent week =D... I miss Tuesday though =(...
