Since my earlier post my mood has thrown a 180.
I'm done with work for yet another week, I had a really good holiday and apart from getting up at 6am every weekday again, tafe is actually really fun.
So my good mood has officially been restored =).
I'm just a little way off finishing the 10 page PDF due tomorrow and not too worried about that, while a little bit of new news just came to my attention.
I've actually been out of the main stream video game news network for a while so upon surfing Youtube i was massively shocked to find out about a new Sonic game in the works, due for release on all next gen (and PS2 I believe) consoles sometime in November.
It's called "Sonic Unleashed" for all those who have not heard the news like me and the look has completely changed from it's previous installments, at first it looked to me like an entire game based on reaction commands... which... would just be boring ^_^;... but then after looking further into it, the spin for this game seems to be that Sonic himself is hit with some kind of... umm.. chaos emerald... radiation?... and is turned into a werewolf... umm... hedghog... so yeah, that adds a little bit of a Crash Bandicoot beat-em'-up platforming aspect to it that hasn't really been explored too deeply n previous games in the franchise.... I've seriously never seen sonic throw a punch lol... well he does appear to have slightly twiggy arms...
But anyway, I heard that Knuckles and *wince* Tails will also be playable characters in this game... for more info... google is your friend I guess lol... for now... check this out =D
Not sure how I feel about it yet, sure it's visually stunning... but... I can see potential for SOOO many flaws... which I'll choose to ignore right now.
It just occurred to me... until now... Sonic hasn't been the fighter... it's always been Knuckles doing the whole punching thing... Sonic runs and hides while Knuckles protects all of the not-so woodland creatures lol.
Also... after searching through IGN's section of what they found at E3 this year I found a few videos for the new Ratchet and Clank Future game (Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest For Booty)!!! YAY!!!... I've been waiting for this since I finished the first one, it left on such an annoying cliff hanger, I'm really looking forward to this next one... unfortunately they had to get Resistance 2 out of the way first >.>... but now it's on it's way!!! WOO!!! Ha ha I'm really looking forward to that. I think I'll have to max out my game just so i can have the best start on the next one... apparently it's a shorter game, but the price will reflect that... which... i guess I can deal with... it'd mean a sooner release date too I'd wager =D.
Ahhh I'm excited now XD.
Oh wait... i still have 2 pages left on my PDF O.o... I'd better go... have to wake up soon lol.
