Attempt to work
Before I went to sleep last night I opened a Word doc containing one of the movie reviews that I need to finish for tafe before I go back.
So today was basically a struggle not to procrastinate ha ha. I woke up sometime after 9 (but before 10... I didn't look past the 9 lol) and moved the mouse to check on a download I had going over night. As soon as the blank review questions popped up on screen I somehow fell back to sleep again lol.
After that i woke up at around 10:30 and realized in fact that closing my eyes and ignoring it wasn't going to help me... in the long run at least so I polished off the first 2 questions before deciding "hey, I think I have a little more sleep left in me" and crashing again for another hour lol.
When I woke up after that I made a decent attempt at he next 2 questions (one of which was a 3 parter). I think after that my mind was tired so I decided to doze for a bit more lol... it was such a lazy day now that I reflect on it.
My mum called me downstairs at one point in the afternoon to do something... I don't remember what... but yeah... it wasn't important.
But on the topic of my mum, she bought a new mobile, and it arrived today... so being the good son I am I basically stole it and filled it with songs that I like ha ha... well I think she liked a few of them too... but "Do you like waffles" by Guttermouth, was purely for my amusement ha ha that song is so fun to annoy people with XD.
From there I fixed myself up (after a week of unsociality (yes, I made that word up... don't dictionary bash me lol) I was to say the least unfavorable) and got ready for Emma and Jellybean to come over, there was a movie that Jellybean wanted to see called "The Great Yokai war". Just before they showed up however I had this random call from a friend who is currently away in Newcastle asking very urgently what the exact date was that Captain Cook landed in Botany Bay O.o... so I hit google, but it didn't help too much, then the girls arrived and yeah, he just kinda didn't get the answer.
We watched this movie, I was actually interested in ti from the trailer even though I hadn't seen it before, it looked low budget but still quite interesting.
I spent most of the movie laughing at the content, it was meant as a comedy in some moments so this wasn't a bad thing entirely, although it had moments that I just don't get as a western raised person, and some that just made no sense what-so-ever lmao. I'm not even joking some of the weeeeird stuff in that movie.
Hmm, so yeah, after that we ended up going to Maccas for a bit, I only had just over a dollar's change in my wallet so i just had a soft serve cone, it was a good cone though... ha ha and it's weird but EVERY time I have one I always think of the ice cream scene from Forrest Gump... this has actually earned me some strange looks over some time ha ha, but hey, it stuck in my head for some reason. In fact I actually found the scene on You Tube... i present to all who have no idea what I'm talking about...
On reflection I don't get why that stuck in my head so much, but yeah... thats just how my mind works lol... and now I really wanna watch that movie again... I think I only have it on video =P... too bad my players broken.
Anyway, moving right along (YAY thats the name of a muppets song... I'll post that too) walked everyone home and came home myself, when I got here I realized that I hadn't given Emma the DVD that I'd burnt for her, so I tried getting hold of her, but failed lol. I'll probably see her in a couple of days anyway, I'll just have to keep track of this one lol (I lost the last lot of DVDs I'd made for her =P). So it was only about 11:30 by the time I made my way upstairs again, so I decided to watch a movie, one that I'd been looking forward to for a long time. "Shortcut To Happiness" With Alec Baldwin, Hanni *cough* umm Anothony Hopkins >.>... and best of all Jennifer Love Hewitt =D.
It was a pretty good movie once again lol. Although it's hard to go wring with that line up... well... Alec Baldwin... o.<... but even so... I'm still finding it hard to see Jennifer as a bad character though... although she plays a seductress to well... maybe it's just the mindless male in me thinking that way ha ha.
So yeah, thats pretty much it... I'll add some more videos... because they are relevant and fun =)
