Keep It Real Kid, Just Give Us The Facts
First order of business, thanks goes out to an anonymous snowflake giver out there. I'm starting to get an image of who it is due to my EXTREMELY limited F list and the amount of people on it who are thanking this anon who received a snowflake at the same time lol... Plus Raph hasn't received one... Thank you regardless Mr.(or Ms.) Anonymous snowflake giver =D.
So my cousin called my Mum yesterday... but she wasn't here so I answered the phone (forfeiting the game of Tap Tap Revenge 3 that I was playing at the time), while she was on the phone she mentioned that she has an old friend, that she's recently gotten back in contact with who works at the ABC. I don't really want to be counting any chickens here (I'll leave that to Evan) but this could be a potential path into somewhere interesting =).

Also, yesterday at work, "Jo" one of the meat ladies (lol) who I've been doing a few odd jobs for from time to time (against the rules of my manager =P) asked me if I'd like to work in meat occasionally, because apparently they'll be looking for a few more people to help out over Christmas. So hey, looks like I'll be getting a few more hours at work soon =).
Hmm, another issue that kinda needs to be brought up is the fact that LJ seem to be slacking in sending out my automated LJ update message things. i noticed a few days ago that I'd be finding comments from people long before I'd received the email. but now, they're just WAY behind, and I'm losing touch. So if I haven't replied to a comment that you've left me that requires commenting on... I'll get to you as soon as I know that you're there... lol.
my_fool_took brought over the first half of the new SyFy (it physically hurt me to type those letters) mini series "Alice" last night and we vegged out on my bed with snakey_j and watched it, it's actually a rather innovative retelling of the classic story (as in Alice In Wonderland if you hadn't guessed). I enjoyed the different twists and turns that it's taking. I believe the second part is on the cards for tonight. But I'm impressed with what I've seen so far, even if the protagonist is slightly obnoxious lol.
So that's about it, I'll leave you with this... because I love it with a firey passion:
