Going home today. The parents are on their way up, and I'm frantically trying to clean and pack and a number of things I should've done earlier: such is my curse, procrastination. On a lighter note, it's been a great week to finish finals, relax, see some friends, and have a last huzzah before the semester ends and we all part till January 2008. What a crazy semester it's been, not to mention a crazy year. 2007 has been one of my best, worst, busiest, most frantic, most awesome and emotional years thus far, and I'm sure there is more to come. Hopefully for the best, or at least a continuation of life as
Robert Jordan said it best: "The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose.... The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of time.
But it was a beginning."
And, of course, my lady love comes home this next week, and a greeting committee of friends and family shall welcome her back. Many tears and hugs and kisses and laughs and smiles shall overwhelm all in attendance. :-D
For those of you traveling, a good journey, a good Holiday, and a good break to all. I shall see thee on the new Year!
